The Canyon Cove Resort Experience

Praise God! I'm blogging again. This would be my one and first of impending late posts. :)

To start with, Rhea would always ask me if we can go to Canyon Cove, but I often replied maybe next time. However, one day she caught me in a condition wherein I can say no for an answer, so I told her if she can find the cheapest promo, then we'll go.

I never realized that's her thing, finding cheapest promo. Haha

Credits to her, we got to visit some places at a very low costs. Keep up the good work. :)

So there it was, we went to Canyon Cove last July 2013. It was our first family swimming vacation.

Located in Nasugbu, Batangas, Philippines

I don't know if there's faster way, but we took Nasugbu via Tagaytay. Two to three hours drive from Manila.

Apparently, there's no signage going to Canyon Cove when you needed it most. Thanks to Waze, it brought us to our destination.

Upon arrival, I noticed that the place is big and kind of old, some of its structures are still under construction and for renovations.

We were politely greeted and hospitably served.
Although we came-in two hours earlier the check-in time, our room is already available. Its nice and clean by the way.

Our reservation was only scheduled for an overnight stay.
No food and drinks allowed, but I think you can still bring food (but not too conspicuous) as long it doesn't require cooking.

Only Max's Restaurant catered the food. We're okay with that since it is one of our favorites.
Unfortunately in our overnight stay only in this Max's branch we experienced the poorest service; disorganized, very slow in service and discourteous (especially the managers assigned during our dinner). I don't know if its from Canyon Cove or Max's Restaurant management.

Food is served in a la carte or buffet (breakfast, lunch and dinner).

Since the place is big, the pool should also be big and it is. As I remember, the pool has three divisions and the water is overlapping in each division (kiddie and adult).

I've been busy taking pictures, which is why I never had a chance to go for a swim. Nevertheless,  Rhea and Kiel really enjoyed swimming.  Kiel was only one year and half year old then.

Some of my photos of Canyon Cove Resort swimming pool and beach.

The White Sand Beach. After I took this shot, I just went for a swim.

Lastly, their amenities are okay; pool, rooms, little playground (swings, slides, etc.) for kids.
We never had a chance to explore more of the place since we stayed only for an overnight and most of the time we're on the beach playing with Kiel.

Canyon Cove is one of the fastest getaway from the city life. One of the great places for family bonding just couple hours away from the city.
