rheA and the Vikings

This was supposed to be my birthday treat to my wife...

Months passed already since we've been planning to dine at Vikings (a buffet restaurant located near SM Mall Of Asia) but due to circumstances, we were not able to conquer it, not until my Rhea's birthday this year.

Three or four days before Rhea through phone inquired Vikings for any promo. She was blessed enough that there was a birthday promo just bring any identification with your birth date not mentioning what was included in the promo.

She got approval from me that we celebrate her birthday at Vikings because the next day we'll go to Cebu. Immediately, she made a lunch reservation for two on her birthday; we'll just have to arrived 45mins before the exact reservation time or our reservation will be voided.

We were very excited about this celebration because finally, we'll conquer Vikings. =)

Vikings may be expensive for me, but you just can't go and dine as walked-in customers because I can assure that there is no vacant seat for you, and you'll be at least the #20 waiting customer (based on our experienced).. hehe

After Four days, it was Rhea's birthday. We arrived at Vikings 30mins before our reservation time and the rest is history and some were free. =)

...it turns out that Vikings treat her on her birthday for what she ate was free. Thank You Vikings, hope you would still have this promo on my birthday next year! Hahaha

Trip To The Mind Museum

June 24, 2012, together with my team in the office we went to Mind Museum.
I don't know who suggested it when we're still in planning stage, but everyone agrees and kind of excited because we were all first timers. :)

The Mind Museum is located at The Fort, Taguig having entrance of P600 for Adult and P450 for Kids. I think kids two feet below are free, which is why no entrance fee for Kiel. :)

There are so many things you can learn and discover inside Mind Museum.
One of these is the place wherein you can freeze your shadows (cool).

Pao and I tried to prove the Elliptical Table.

Place both balls on the marked foci.

Hit any of the two balls and it is sure to rebound and hit the other ball.

This will only work on an elliptical table and not on any other shape of a table because in an ellipse, the sum of the distance from the two foci to every point on the line remains the same.

They also have souvenirs such as pictures, t-shirts, tumblers, toys, etc.

The Mind Museum is a place of fun, discovery and learning. Highly recommend for students, especially students who love science and math as their subjects. Grown-ups and professionals would also love this place.

I guess will be back here when Kiel is already in his elementary. :)

Paseo de Sta. Rosa (Greenfield City)

We've always wanted to go places that we've never been, especially places that are stone-throw away from Metro Manila. Now that we have Soul (our car Kia Soul) its like a dream come true. :)

One of these places is the Paseo de Sta. Rosa.

We've heard that most of their establishments are factory outlets, meaning they offer cheaper price or bigger discounts than malls.

We find time to find out what they were saying are true.
Rhea bought two shorts in Nike, one pair of Ipanema sandals and one item in Bench.
I guess it is true. :P

Paseo de Sta. Rosa is more than meets the eye...

It is not only the wide row of establishments you see every time you passed by going to Tagaytay. You just have to stop and discover the place. :)

It is not what you see is what you get, it is more than what you've expected.

You may also want to visit Solenad and Nuvali. The're also located in Sta. Rosa and couple of minutes drive away from Paseo de Sta. Rosa.

The're also establishments here (Solenad) but Paseo de Sta. Rosa is still much cheaper. :)
