Our Covelandia Experience

Covelandia du labrador - Family Beach Resort.

Covelandia can be found at Bo. Tubuan (boundary of Sual and Labrador), Labrador Pangasinan.

It has been one of the favorite beach resorts of my cousins, and I think that almost every year they hold their summer outing there. Last April 7 (Black Saturday) we took to opportunity to go with them and experience the reason why they would prefer Covelandia than other resorts whenever they're in Pangasinan.

It was our first time.
No doubt, Covelandia is a nice place for family outing. The resort is a combination of beach and pool.

Below are some of their amenities:
- Hotel
- Pool with slides
- Kiddie Pool
- Function hall
- Bar
- Beach cottages
- Kayak, Bananana Boat, Jet Ski
- Sports, etc. :)

   

"A perfect hideaway for families that need a break from the dull and droning urban life..." 

With this kind of environment, sometimes accident is unavoidable.

An ordinary slipped with a lifetime impact.

I'm about take a picture of my cousing-in-law (Kuya Rolly) while carrying his grand daughter (Ashley), when Kuya Rolly was accidentally slipped (just taking his second step towards the beach) and fell to the solid pavement (where he was walking). -- This pavement serves as a dock to roll their speedboat which was parked beside our cottage.

Upon impact on the pavement,  I saw a cut on Ashley's forehead (top of her left eyebrow) and was immediately rushed to reception area (because they don't have a clinic *sad* ). Ashley was attended by their office personnel (because they don't have a nurse *sad*) and applied Betadine for the open wound.

Thank God, Ashley was examined by my three nieces (RN, who are with us that time); they advised that Ashley must be brought to the hospital because of the cut in her forehead was deep and need to be stitched. .

Ashely was brought to Labrador Hospital.

When we arrived, there was no doctor on duty. :(
Kuya Rolly heard among nurses on duty saying, "I-text mo na si doc" but kuya Rolly butt in "Wag nyo na i-text, tawagan nyo na".

The doctor came and immediately attended Ashley and kuya Rolly.

Kuya Rolly suffered a swelling elbow (right elbow - for protecting Ashley) and some scratches.

It was the second accident brought to Labrador Hospital from Covelandia as per told by some nurses. :(

As for me, in case of emergency, I believe that with its size, it should have a clinic.
They may have no resident doctor, but I think nurse is necessary. 

Just my two sentiments. :)

A glimpse of Dasol

Rhea and I; Whenever we're having our vacation in Pangasinan, we try to visit new places that we have never been.
We've been already to Bolinao and Lingayen and last April 5, 2012, we went to Dasol.

My family is from Pangasinan, and I'm familiar with Dasol as a municipality only but not a summer destination.
I heard couple of years ago that Dasol has a nice beach then I said to myself. "hmm.. to see is to believe".

This year, we took the opportunity  to visit Dasol since we're having our summer vacation in Alaminos. It was 45mins to 1hr drive from Alaminos. I'm with my mom, Rhea and Kiel when we went there.

We really have no plans for swimming; we just went there to see the place for possible destination of our next summer outing. Luckily, Kiel pooed and we had to wash him to the beach. Hehehe
